Marty's Grip and Lighting Inc was founded in 1976 by Marty Segal. Marty has worked as a gaffer and lighting director in Florida and the Caribbean since 1969.

Marty's long experience in the market makes Marty's Grip and Lighting an invaluable resource when shooting in this region. We're totally familiar with the locations, the technicians and all of the resources available. Our experience will help your production to go smoothly and economically.

Our cooperative relationships with other vendors ensure that we can always provide any exotic or specialized equipment or services your production may require.

Marty's Grip and Lighting understands that though we provide equipment, we're really a service business, not a rental business. We offer the best of personal and experienced service combined with the ability to handle any size production.

Marty's Grip and Lighting is an "old fashioned" family business. Marty's wife, Judy, assists in customer service and administration, and does some outside props. Marty's son, Michael, is an experienced entertainment electrician who also works as a Firefighter/EMT. Marty's daughter, Michele, was  involved in lighting, though not in the entertainment area. She was a mechanical engineer working on the lighting design team for NASA's International Space Station.
